Kitale Children’s Home
The Kenya Church of Christ Children’s Home was constructed in 1992 in Kitale, Kenya on five acres of property donated by the local government to the Kenya Churches of Christ. The purpose of the Home is to provide sanctuary and physical nurture and most of all spiritual development for abandoned and orphaned Kenyan children as outlined in James 1:29. Mike and Karolyn Schrage were part of the Kitale Mission Team that coordinated the initiation of this useful work and ministry.
Today, many children have matured and have ‘graduated’ from the Home as they turn 18 years of age and older. Some have married; others are attending universities while still others are working and serving in local congregations. There are currently over 50 children in the Home. Through a child sponsorship program with Save the Children, clothing, food and a primary school education is being offered. Additional gifts from individuals and churches make this ministry possible.
Recently a television reporter did a story on the Children’s Home. Watch the story here.

The vision of Good News Productions is: To fill the earth with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea: Good News Productions, International will partner with His Church to accelerate global evangelism. (Habakkuk 2:14)
The call to tell the world has not changed, but the way in which you can carry the message to the ends of the earth has. Media has changed the way the Gospel is being shared throughout the world. By equipping missionaries and the local church with relevant and culturally appropriate strategies and media, you can tell the story effectively and help win more to Christ.

Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. There is an open meeting of AA at the church on Mondays and Thursdays at 8pm.
